According to the last census, Palm Beach County's population over 65 years old is 23.9%, that is more than 350,000 people - these are our neighbors, friends, and family. Those over 60 years old have a significantly greater chance of serious illness due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus, and a higher rate of mortality. Please see CDC recommendations for long-term care facilities and nursing homes below the video.
THE CENTER FOR DISEASE CONTROL (CDC) RECOMMENDS THE FOLLOWING:
Restrict all visitation except for certain compassionate care situations.
Restrict all volunteers and non-essential healthcare personnel (HCP), including non-essential healthcare personnel (e.g., barbers).
Cancel all group activities and communal dining.
