    • If you are in line by 7 pm you have the right to vote!


    • Please bring one or two forms of valid and current identification that include your signature and photo. Acceptable Photo ID Florida Voters includes:

      • Florida Driver License

      • Florida ID Card (issued by DHSMV)

      • U.S. Passport

      • Debit or Credit Card

      • Military ID

      • Student ID

      • Retirement Center ID

      • Neighborhood Association ID

      • Public Assistance ID

      • Veteran Health ID (issued by the US Department of Veterans Affairs)

      • Concealed Weapon License (issued pursuant to F.S. 790.06)

      • Employee ID card issued by any branch, department, agency, or entity of the Federal

      • Government, the state, a county, or a municipality.

    • If your photo ID does not include your signature, you will be asked to provide another ID that has your signature. If you do not bring your ID, you may still vote, however, you will be required to vote a provisional ballot, which will later be evaluated by a canvassing board for eligibility.

  • Returning Your Ballot

    • To have your vote counted, your ballot MUST be received by the Supervisor of Elections no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day (August 18th). 

    • It is now too late to mail your ballot, but you can drop it off at your polling station or any PBC Supervisor of Elections Office during office hours.

    • If you requested a ballot by mail, but prefer to vote in person, bring your Vote-by-Mail ballot (marked or not) with you. The Vote-by-Mail ballot will be canceled and you can vote using a regular ballot.

    • Florida is a "closed primary" state. Voters must be registered to a political party to vote in that political party’s Primary Election. The deadline to change your party affiliation for the primary was July 20th.
